LBAs, BCBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians

Every client is assigned a treatment team, which includes a supervising LBA (BCBA) and trained Behavior Technicians. Behavior Technicians are all required to pass a stringent screening-process, as well as an initial and annual competency-based training evaluation to ensure the highest quality of care to all of our clients. Behavior Technicians are selected based on character, professionalism, academic performance, skill, and passion for working with children with developmental delays. LBAs (BCBAs) provide initial and ongoing assessment services, as well as treatment planning, ABA programming and direct supervision of Behavior Technicians. While formal supervision is available for LBA (BCBA), BCaBA and, on-site supervision is provided to all Behavior Technicians according to practice standards.

Applied Behavior Analysis

ABA is an evidence-based practice that involves application of systematic environmental modifications to produce socially significant improvements in behavior (Baer, Wolf, and Risley, 1968). ABA is an individualized and collaborative behavioral treatment approach driven by assessment and data.

Comprehensive ABA interventions are designed to drive improvements in specific skills that are foundational for more global developmental changes. Treatment may be provided for an extended period of time, and may occur in a home or center setting.
